Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Ecclesiastes 7:8
The end of a thing is better than its beginning…
I remember running long distances… after miles of running, my legs were numb, everything would be a blur, but somehow, as I came around the last corner and saw the finish line, a newly found strength rose up in me, and I sprinted to the finish… I would collapse in total glee as well as exhaustion… the fact that I had ended strong, and the fact that I had finished somehow made the end so much more than the beginning.
New beginnings are important, but how we end is every bit as important! This is the last day of 2020… end it strong… end it in faith… end it on fire for God and full of the anointing! You may have slipped and fallen several times, you may have done many things that you regret… but here you are, and the finish line is in sight… you cannot undo the first mile of 2020, but you can finish strong!
The devil does not really care how you run the race, as long as you either do not end, or that you end in defeat… ending strong and in a place of victory, regardless of circumstances is what it is all about! Stir yourself up in the Lord today, receive supernatural strength, and then end this season sprinting, of fire, full of faith and full of Holy Ghost power!
Isaiah 46:9-10 says, “Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, DECLARING THE END from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all that I have purposed to do’
Jesus has declared this day and has spoken life over it for you before day one of 2020… At times you did not know if you were going to make it… how many times did Jesus have to save your life this year for you to get to today? How may miracles and how many supernatural interventions that you may not even be aware of did Jesus have to bring to pass to get you to where you are today?
On your weakest day, Jesus was declaring by faith… “My child is not going down today, my child is going to see this through, my child is going to finish strong… I declare it today and it shall come to pass!” Come on now… put a smile on your face, rise up in the power of the Holy Ghost right now, and finish strong, in Jesus Name!
In His amazing love, Nick
