GraceAndTruth-1.jpg

Today’s New Covenant nugget is from John 1:14

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The glory of God is His manifested presence… the presence of Jesus manifests as grace and truth.

When you see Jesus, the first thing that you notice as He looks at you is GRACE and TRUTH.

The Aramaic word for ‘grace’ is ‘taybootha’ means “loving kindness or goodness.” The Greek word is ‘charis’, which can also be translated, “grace, unmerited favor, sweetness, pleasure or delight.”

The word ‘truth’, is translated from the Greek word ‘alḗtheia’… meaning infinite truth, or absolute, unchangeable truth. John 8:32 says, ‘you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.’

The Passion Translation says ‘For if you embrace the truth, it will release more freedom into your lives.’

Blessings on you, Nick
