I remember September 11, 2001 well – I was at the chiropractor and at about 8:45am the television programming was interrupted with an image of smoke coming out of one of the twin towers…by 9:03am another plane flew into the second tower and our nation was gripped in terror. The attacks killed 2,996 people, injured over 6,000 others, and caused at least $10 billion in infrastructure and property damage.
Terror attacks are horrific acts perpetrated by demon-possessed people to bring fear and terror upon innocent people. I remember being in South Africa where the ANC and other terroristic organizations targeted malls, schools, children’s playgrounds and other ‘soft targets’ with bombs, mass shootings and other acts of terror. We prayed for peace while satan poured out terror across that nation. Terror knows no race, no gender, no political persuasion and goes beyond religion or nationality – all terror is from the pit of hell and is unleashed by satan and his cowardly pawns.
In the last days the spirit of antichrist will increase more and more until the ‘man of sin’ is revealed… Terror and outpourings of the devil’s wrath against humanity will increase more and more.
Thank God that in Christ we are safe. Jesus is our secret place and in Him we are safe and secure…
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the missile that flies by day, A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Because you have made the Lord [Jesus], even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways (Psalm 91:5-11)
Isaiah prophesies peace and assurance to us from thousands of years ago in Isaiah 54:14, ‘In righteousness you shall be established; [You are the righteousness of God in Christ] you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.
There are amazing testimonies of believers who were supernaturally protected on 9-11-2001. Some were warned by the Holy Spirit not to go in to work that day, others were supernaturally protected and were able to help countless victims… so many amazing stories of the faithfulness of God!
Pray for America today, pray for whatever nation the Lord leads you to pray for – use your authority as a born again believer and bind the work of the devil! Bind terror, speak confusion to the plans of the enemy, in Jesus Name! Be Spirit led today, listen for the voice of God today, He will direct you… where to go, where not to go, when to pray, how to pray and how to use your authority in Him.
As the enemy comes in… like a flood, let us raise up a standard against him – let us raise up the banner of Jesus and flood darkness with light, in Jesus Name! Be safe, be strong and have a blesses 9-11-2019, in Jesus Name!
Make this confession of faith - say this out loud with me…
“John 17:17 says that I am sanctified and set apart by Your truth - Your Word is truth - Your Word absolute truth – the Word is for me to walk in, to accept as final truth and for me to stand on, to declare by faith and for me to do – I am who the Word says that I am - I can do what the Word says I can do - I can be who the Word says I can be - Christ in me can do all things – I can do all things through Christ - I have absolute POWER over ALL the Work of the enemy – nothing shall by any means harm me – I have power to raise the dead – I have power to heal the sick – I have power to do the works of Jesus – I have total authority over all of the works of His hands in Jesus Name! – the power and the authority of the creator of all things is on the inside of me – when I speak by faith, I ALWAYS have what I say – As I speak the Word, the Father ALWAYS watches over it to perform it – The Father loves it when I expect Him to ALWAYS perform His EVERY Word! – I always expect the Father to bring to pass every word that I speak according to His Word – God is not a man that He should lie – His Word is literal, His Word is truth and His Word is final!”
