Fully-convinced-featured.jpg

Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Romans 4:19-21

And Abraham not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead, since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

Abraham was FULLY CONVINCED that God’s Word was true and that God was willing and able to perform it. Abram changed his name to Abraham (Father of many nations), and began to confess, “I am the father of many nations, am the father of many nations, am the father of many nations” over and over again… even though what he was saying was medically impossible, even though he must have come across as a person who was in denial, in the face of ridicule from those around him, Abraham did not consider his own body, already dead, since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

The devil tries to question the Word, and water down the Word and get us to be less than fully convinced…

He attacks the integrity of the Word by attempting to invade our minds with thoughts like, “It is not ALWAYS God’s will to heal everybody! – you do not always have total authority over all of the works of the devil… you are just a sinner, saved by grace… you did not pray exactly right… you did not fast long enough for your miracle to happen… look at Sam, he thought that he had total authority, and now he is dead… look at Judie, she confessed her healing, went to church, prayed and fasted, but she still died… you just have to accept that God is sovereign, He will do what He wants, and we will only fully understand and know why when we get to Heaven… you will never change… things are never going to get better… just accept your fate!” These kind of thoughts are the arrows of the wicked one that are attempting to get us to be less than fully convinced!

When you are less than fully convinced about God’s will and His Word, get back into the Word, find scripture, meditate upon it, listen to it being preached, ask the Holy Spirit to give you revelation knowledge, and GET FULLY CONVINCED! Get the Word of God on every area of life and become fully convinced, just like Abraham was, then stand upon that Word and do what it says until it manifests, in Jesus Name!

Like with Abraham, what you are believing for may be impossible in the natural… however, the Word is stronger than natural circumstances. Like Abraham did, change your confession… confess the Word by faith continually before many witnesses… God will watch over His Word to perform it and it shall come to pass, in Jesus Name!
