Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Daniel 11:32
The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
REVELATION KNOWLEDGE OF THE FATHER = GREAT EXPLOITS
The more that we grow in knowledge of Who our heavenly Father is, the greater our exploits in His Name will be.
Ephesians 1:17-18 says,‘I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Fatherof glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.’
As the eyes of our understanding are enlightened as to WHO Father God is, knowledge OF Him includes receiving HIS full discernment regarding our calling, our inheritance as well as His power towards us. To KNOW the Father includes receiving an impartation of WHO He is… it is far more that knowing ABOUT Him… to truly KNOW Him is to be transformed by Him!
REALLY KNOWING THE FATHER IS THE KEY TO KNOWING WHO WE ARE, WHO JESUS IS AND WHAT WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN… BECAUSE OF THAT, ALL OF SATAN’S ARROWS ARE FOCUSED ON DECEIVING PEOPLE ABOUT WHO THE FATHER IS…
Revelation 12:9 calls the devil, ‘he who deceives the whole world.’ The devil deceives in all areas, but his primary area of deception is regarding Who God the Father is. The devil is the most deceived in this area and he tries to character assassinate the Father into an angry, judgmental, God of wrath that wants to send everybody to hell. This is not at all who our loving Father God is, but sadly, even many Christians have drank the devil’s ‘Kool-Aid’ and are now themselves deceived. This is one of the greatest reasons that we do not see as many miracles today anymore… the people do not know their God and therefore cannot do great exploits.
DID GOD REALLY SAY?
Satan immediately targeted mankind in the beginning of time. When he did, he went after Father God’s character and tried to make Him out to be a liar and a God who wants to deprive His children… “Did God really say that you cannot eat from any of the trees in the garden?” Of course the our Heavenly Father would not and did not say that, but all that the devil had to do was to deceive. As soon as deception set in, the glory and the anointing on Adam and Eve lifted and they immediately became sin conscious knowing that they were naked and hid from the Father.
JOB AND HIS FRIENDS DID NOT KNOW GOD…
If you study the story of Job, he was not a sinner, however he did not have revelation knowledge of who Father God was. At the end of the book of Job he acknowledges… “I only heard about You, but now I have seen You with my own eyes”, he goes on to say that everything that he and his friends had to say about God was wrong.
Job was deceived into fearing that God would take away everything that he loved, he believed that God gave only to take away again, Job believed that Father God had struck him with poison arrows to infect His spirit as a kind of discipline. He believed that the nightmares and the terrifying visions that he was getting at night came from his heavenly Father.
JOB’S REPENTANCE
Job 42:1-6 - “Then Job replied to the Lord: “I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you. You asked, ‘Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorance?’ It is I—and I was talking about things I knew nothing about, things far too wonderful for me. - I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes. I take back everything I said, and I sit in dust and ashes to show my repentance.”
Job’s restoration and blessing came after his mind was renewed and he saw with his own eyes WHO Father God really was…
Job 42:10 - When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!
KNOWING THE FATHER
The Father is love…
1 John 4:16 - And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
The Father is good…
Psalm 34:8 - Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
James 1:16-17 - Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Our Heavenly Father is a loving, good, good Father that lives to bless His children with good things. He is for you and not against you, He is gentle, compassionate, forgiving, graceful and full of mercy. He wants you healed, delivered, safe and blessed, that is Who He is, but do not take my word for it, discover Who your Heavenly Father is for yourself!
POWER AND ANOINTING IS RELEASED AS WE DECLARE WHO THE FATHER IS…
When Jehoshaphat’s army put the singers in front and when they began to sing and declare the goodness of the Lord – “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.” The enemy became confused and turned onto themselves, killing one another. As we declare Who our Father God is, the anointing of Who He is, is released and then we will do great exploits and we will see miracles, signs and wonders.
The Father is asking you today, “who do you say that I am?”
