Today’s devotion is from Hebrews 10:38
Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.
Living by faith is living a life that is free from being dominated and controlled by circumstances. Living by faith is living in divine health regardless of the doctor’s report, it is living in abundance regardless of the economy, it is living in peace regardless of whether others around you are living in strife and war, it is living in joy unspeakable and full of glory regardless of challenging circumstances and it is living in the overflow regardless of circumstantial lack.
Living by faith is knowing that all things are working together for your good, it is knowing that every battle leads to a triumph and that every test leads to a testimony. Living by faith is living a worry free, fear free life, knowing that when you face things that are bigger than you, it is nothing more than a miracle in the making.
As we live by faith, we do not consider circumstances, we consider the Word of God and the leading of the Spirit. ‘He who considers the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap.’ (Ecclesiastes 11:4) According to the Word, I consider myself blessed, I consider myself healed and I consider myself strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, regardless of circumstances.
The only consideration I give to circumstances, is how they are going to work together for my good, how they are going to lead to miracles and how that they are going to turn around and follow my faith. - Selah
