Today’s devotion is from Hebrews 11:7 (TPT)
Faith opened Noah’s heart to receive revelation and warnings from God about what was coming, even things that had never been seen. But he stepped out in reverent obedience to God and built an ark that would save him and his family.
As we walk in faith, the Lord will warn us and give us revelation from the Holy Spirit to our spirits concerning things to come. Faith opens up our hearts to receive that revelation and those warnings.
As believers we need to continually believe to receive both warnings as well as revelation. These warnings as well as the revelation we receive will affect what we do, how we do things and when we do things. It will lead to divine assignments and it will prepare us to navigate through life unscathed. Sometime a warning from the Holy Spirit may come through people, sometimes it will be a powerful alarm going off on the inside of you and sometimes it will just be a gentle inner nudging of the Spirit. However it comes, you will be wise to heed it.
Thank God for His faithfulness; thank God for warning us when a warning is needed, thank God for revelation concerning things to come - Selah
