Today I want to talk to you about the greatest miracle…
Jesus raised the dead, healed blind eyes, healed incurable diseases and did so many miracles that all the books of the world could not contain them, but what is the greatest miracle of all? The greatest miracle is a changed life! The Holy Spirit says through the prophet Jeremiah that people cannot change. Only a miracle from God can change a person!
A person may be able to modify his or her behavior somewhat, but nobody can change themselves into a different person… without Jesus every person is stuck with their demons. Every person is bound with their generational curses, from everything to behavior and personality to generational sicknesses like cancer or heart disease.
Only Jesus can truly change a person! A changed person is the greatest miracle and only Jesus has made this possible. No philosophy, no religion and no amount of willpower can change anybody. It takes a miracle for a person to change, but thank God it is possible through Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17-18
Anyone that is in Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, Who brought us back to Himself through Christ.
The Passion Translation
Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new creation. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new.
Not only are we changed when we get born again, we continue to be transformed daily by His miracle working power.
2 Corinthians 3:17-18
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Amplified Bible
And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.
THE MIRACLE OF CHANGE
Jesus did not just forgive our sins, He destroyed the power of sin over our lives. Born again believers are engrafted into Christ and we are continually transformed by the Holy Spirit through His power working in us.
Not only can Jesus change you from a lost, bound sinner to the righteousness of God in Christ, whole, healed and free… He will continue to transform you into a productive successful, leader who is totally fulfilled in all aspects of life. - Selah
