Today’s devotion is from Romans 8:35 (TPT)
Who could ever separate us from the endless love of God’s Anointed One? Absolutely no one! For nothing in the universe has the power to diminish his love toward us. Troubles, pressures, and problems are unable to come between us and heaven’s love. What about persecutions, deprivations, dangers, and death threats? No, for they are all impotent to hinder omnipotent love.
Romans 8:37 goes on to say…
‘Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and His demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!’
His demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything! God’s love for you is more than affection, His love for you and I moves the Lord into action on our behalf. As our Lord of angel armies, He uses His power, His angel armies, and everything that He has (and that is a lot) to cause us to triumph in every area. His love makes us to be more than conquerors!
As you look at your life right now, you are looking at a snapshot in time. To the person who has just lost everything in a flood, to the person who’s home just got burned down, to the person who‘s home just got repossessed, to the one who just lost his job, to the person who just lost their marriage, to the one who just got diagnosed with cancer… to that person it may be difficult to ‘feel’ God’s love right now – but know, you are loved! What you are facing right now is just a snapshot in time… you are Daniel, who just got thrown into the lion’s den, you are Moses, with the sea in front of you and an army behind you, you are Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who just got thrown into the fire. That is where you are right now, but this is not the end… God is working on your behalf right now! Your test will become a testimony!
