Today’s devotion is from Philippians 2:13
For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
The Passion Translation says, ‘God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases Him.’
Amplified Bible says, ‘For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.’
The Lord is at work on the inside of you right now, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him. As you yield yourself to Him and to the leading of His Spirit, the Lord touches your heart, infusing compassion as well as a burden and a strong desire for the things, the projects, the people and the places that He has called you to. Not only that, but He is infusing supernatural strength, ability, favor and miracle working power into you to equip you for your calling.
