Today’s devotion is from 2 Corinthians 2:14

‘Now thanks be to God Who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.’

The Passion Translation says, ‘God always makes His grace visible in Christ, Who includes us as partners of His endless triumph. Through our yielded lives He spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere we go.’

Today is Super Bowl Sunday…

To those that live in other countries, you may not know what Super Bowl Sunday is, but most Americans, even those who are not football fans will be watching. An estimated 105 million viewers will tune in to watch while consuming and estimated 1.38 billion chicken wings among other things. A 30 second ad on TV will cost you $5.3 million. In about four hours the game as well as the halftime show will be over, but the game of life continues…

Those of us that are blessed enough to be in Christ, those of us who know our New Covenant, who know Who Jesus is and who know who we are in Him have guaranteed victory in the game of life. Jesus, the Anointed one ALWAYS causes us to triumph. Every believer will end up in Heaven with an eternal reward, but many will suffer major losses while on earth during the game of life.

Only those who live in the anointing and apply the New Covenant in the game of life… only those who live by grace through faith in Christ will triumph here on earth. There are believers who do not know Who God is, Who Christ is, Who the Holy Spirit is… what Jesus has done for them or who they are and what they can do in Christ. Many have believed the lie that victory is reserved for Heaven and the after life and they have no clue that we can prosper in all things, and be in health even as our souls prosper in Christ.

Family, we have to spread to good news, we have to get the word out! “God always makes His grace visible in Christ, Who includes us as partners of His endless triumph.Through our yielded lives He spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere we go.”
