In the New Covenant that Jesus established for us, He gave us His name to use, so that when we fight battles, when we face challenging circumstances, we have His name and the power of His name – the name of Jesus. There is no other name like His name. When we use the name of Jesus, all of creation has to bow to that name, in heaven and on earth. In this New Covenant life with Christ, we have freely been given His name and that authority that comes by using His name.
How beautiful is the name of Jesus, how powerful is the name of Jesus, how precious to each and everyone of us believers and to know that at His name, every knee will bow and every tongue will proclaim that He is Lord. How blessed we are, that as we look to the cross, as we thank Him for what He established for us in this New Covenant of His Grace, we have His name, we have direct access to the Throne-room of heaven, so that Jesus Christ may be glorified in our lives.
