Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Proverbs 10:11 (AMPC)
The mouth of the [uncompromisingly] righteous man is a well of life…
The Passion Translation says, ‘The teachings of the lovers of God are like living truth flowing from the fountain of life.’
I love to hang out with people that when they open their mouths to speak, they continually share powerful scriptures that encourage and build me up… they share things that bring life and encouragement. The Word of God refers to this kind of person’s mouth in the Amplified Bible as a ‘well of life’ and in the passion translation, ‘ a fountain of life’.
Have you noticed how when you hang out around people that share about the Word of God, it’s like being around a chocolate fountain… you don’t want to leave and they just keep sharing such amazing truth’s from God’s Word, that you leave after visiting feeling like you feasted on God’s Word and you totally feel energized, inspired, so excited about the things of God… just like a child would feel after getting a sugar buzz from eating too much sugar.
John 7:38 refers to this as ‘rivers of living water’. When we experience the touch of Jesus on our lives, we are never the same. We are changed from the inside out. We become dispensers of His love and His power and His glory. We become like chocolate fountains to our friends and family.
Be encouraged today that He wants His living water to flow through you. He wants His living powerful Word, His anointing and His power to flow through you to others, bringing them into places of newness of life in Christ.
Keep thanking the Lord for the Work that He is doing in and through you. Keep making a withdrawal from His life-giving fountain by faith. Let Him flow through you to others. Don’t hold back from sharing His Word and continually release the anointing. By faith, know that what you speak and share will be received and will make a heavenly impact. Stay full of the Word, keep hungering for more, and then… go be a fountain of His love, His grace, His power and His life pouring through you to those around you.
In His amazing love, Esther
