Today’s devotion is from 1 Corinthians 13:14 (TPT)
Now, may the grace and joyous favor of the Lord Jesus Christ, the unambiguous love of God, and the precious communion that we share in the Holy Spirit be yours continually. Amen!
Friends, I love how Paul signs off his letter to the church in Corinth with such a powerful message to all of us, the church, reminding us of the Grace and favor and Love of God… and depositing a powerful seed into our lives about the ‘precious communion’ that we share with the Holy Spirit that is ours, daily and continually.
The Word “Communion in the Greek, is ‘koinonia’ and this word literally means, ‘fellowship, relationship and intimacy’. It is not a coincidence that we call ‘breaking of bread’ - communion. When we partake of communion, we not only partake of the bread and the cup, remembering what Jesus did on the cross for us, we enter into a time of precious, fellowship and intimacy with Him… thanking Him for the relationship we have with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, because of Jesus’ finished work on the Cross.
By Faith all the daily blessings He has promised and provided for us are ours on a continual basis, grace, favor, the love of God and precious, intimacy, fellowship and relationship with the Holy Spirit.
