In the Old Covenant under the Law of Moses, when people brought their offerings to the Lord, whether it was an offering of turtle doves, sheep, or whatever it was that they were offering, they would bring it to a priest for the priest to value it, and whatever value the priest put on their offering, so it was.
Revelation 1:5-6 says, ‘Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.’
Under the New Covenant, every born again believer is a king and a priest in Christ, and so, every believer gets to ‘value’ whatever life brings at us – in other words; we get to say whether it has value or not, whether it will bless or bring failure, whether it will hurt or help… we get to declare it’s value! So, when the devil brings along something that is designed to hurt us, we get to declare that it will not harm us, and that it will be used for our good, that it will become a testimony to the Glory of God – We determine the outcome – as priests, we set the value, and as we value it, so shall it be! Do not be quick to declare disaster over yourself, value everything that comes your way in the light of the Word, in Jesus Name!
WE ARE KINGS AND PRIESTS IN CHRIST…
A king rules and serves in the natural and a priest rules and serves spiritually. You have been given kingly authority and priestly anointing in Christ by grace to rule in this life under the New Covenant, established by the blood of Jesus!
AS PRIESTS IN CHRIST, AS WE VALUE A THING, SO IT IS…
Matthew 16:13-19
13-16 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
JESUS IS TO YOU WHO YOU SAY HE IS…
“SAVIOR – HEALER – PROVIDER – THE WORD OF GOD – THE ANOINTED ONE”
AS YOU VALUE HIM, SO IT SHALL BE IN YOUR LIFE…
17-19 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Peter received revelation knowledge from the Father, and then He declared what he saw by revelation – Jesus said the He would build His church on what Peter did… getting revelation knowledge from the Father, and then declaring it by faith… setting a value according to revelation knowledge! Mental assent is based the outward appearance – Revelation sees the substance in the appearance - revelation sees what is not revealed to the senses - it sees beyond the obvious with spiritual insight and discernment. The Father is the One Who reveals… First get revelation, then speak value!
Ephesians 1:16-18 - I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding (mind, imagination) being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
The Father of glory, gives the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, as He does, the eyes of your understanding (mind, imagination) get enlightened; so that you may know His calling on your life – and so that you may know what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
1 Corinthians 2:6-10
6-7 We speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9-10 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
Father God wants to reveal things to you by His Spirit – things about the Word – things about how to walk in grace and favor – things about how to rule and reign in life through Christ – how to access the supernatural and walk in miracles – how to have success in life, in relationships and in your financial endeavors and much, much more!
VALUING AND SPEAKING THINGS BY REVELATION KNOWLEDGE
“Father, open the eyes of my understanding with what I am facing right now, I receive revelation knowledge right now by faith, in Jesus Name!”
GET REVELATION – DECLARE BY FAITH – EXPECT WHAT YOU HAVE DECLARED
So many believers just live in the natural realm – they never cross over into the realm of the Spirit to live a life of miracles, signs and wonders – they never know what it is to walk in authority in Christ – they never know what it is like to experience miracles flowing out of their lives – they have no idea what it is to be a priest and a king in this life under Jesus.
Jesus wants you to step into your calling as a priest and a king in His kingdom. He wants you to rule in this life with Him by revelation and by decree – receiving revelation knowledge from the Father, and then decreeing it as law by faith. Take your place today and reign in this life through grace in Christ, in Jesus Name!
