Today’s devotion is from Matthew 5:9 (AMPC)
Blessed (enjoying enviable happiness, spiritually prosperous—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the makers and maintainers of peace, for they shall be called the sons of God!
When the Prince of Peace rules and reigns in your life you become a “peacemaker”. You take on the nature of your heavenly Father and He now calls you’re His son (and daughter).
The opposite of a peacemaker is a troublemaker…
In life we have peacemakers and, sad to say, troublemakers… sometimes where you least expect them. Most ‘troublemakers’ are hurting people… ‘Hurt people hurt people’. Most troublemakers are insecure, hurting people and only the Lord knows what they have been through. Don’t allow yourself to be affected, or infected by them; be a peacemaker! As you pour out the Love of Christ through your life, you will bring the Prince of Peace into every situation and peace will be established in and through your life of yieldedness and obedience.
God has called you – “Peacemaker”. He has called you His child. When we surrender our lives to Him, we become His children, we take on His DNA, His thoughts, and the fruit of His Spirit is evident in and through our lives.
When you see those who bring division and who sow seeds of negativity just know you are called to be a peacemaker. You have the peacemaker anointing flowing through you because you are His child, therefore, rise up in that anointing that is flowing through you, and speak life, speak unity, speak restoration and minister the life and peace of God into that situation.
See yourself as a “ peacemaker” – fully equipped, and in Jesus name, declare PEACE.This is the inheritance we have as His Children, that wherever we go, we take His peace with us, by faith, we bring His peace into situations, and we live and operate in His peace because we are the Children of the most High God, our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, is the Prince of Peace.
