Today’s New Covenant nugget is from 2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
The Passion Translation says, “Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.”
Get ready to be overwhelmed as your mind is renewed concerning the grace and the unmerited favor of God in your life through you New Covenant in Christ… the overwhelming, endless abounding grace given to us through Jesus… get ready to be totally transformed as your mind is renewed and you start to grasp this immeasurable, indescribable unmerited gift.
Grace is unmerited favor… unmerited favor towards the Father and unmerited favor toward people.
Favor with the Father gives us access to all that He has… “The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” (Psalm 84:11) Everything that the Father has is good, and therefore, as His righteous ones in Christ everything that He has is ours because of His abounding grace towards us! Praise the Lord forever more!
Unmerited favor towards people is an anointing that draws people to you, an anointing that causes them to like you, to be open to you and extend favor toward you.
Grace destroys the power of sin and temptation, grace gives us access to everything that God has, grace makes us overflow with abundance in every good thing we do… and the anointing on grace gives us favor with all people… selah!
