Today's devotion is from John 4:23-24

"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Worship is more than a song…

Worship is a lifestyle of adoration. It is continual communion and a continual ebb and flow of love and yieldedness to the Lord.  It’s an all-embracing outpouring of all that we are in adoration of all that He is.

The most powerful worship is spirit to Spirit worship!

The Father seeks people out who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. Worshipping in spirit and in truth is worshipping the Lord according to the Word as a spirit being… a lifestyle of adoration in the light of the New Covenant.

Setting time aside to worship the Lord…

Worship should really be 24/7, however setting time aside for ‘intimate’ worship is vital. Someone once told me the word ‘intimate’ means, ‘into me you see.’ It is a transparent intimate time of adoration and outpouring of love towards the Lord in worship. Singing in the spirit with your spirit to the father, Son and Holy Spirit… Praying in the spirit with your spirit, in your spiritual, heavenly language to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is a time of listening to the Holy Spirit with the ears of your spirit and seeing the things that the Lord desires to show you with your spirit’s eyes… it is a time of transformation and renewal and a time of knowing the Lord in spirit and in truth.

I encourage you to set some time aside to worship today… it is a privilege and an honor!
