Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

God wants you living and operating in Now Faith. Speaking His promises, letting Faith arise in you as you hear His living, powerful Word being spoken out of your mouth, as you stand on, and live by His promises. As you speak His Word, your heart becomes a receiver of faith. The more you speak His Word, the more your faith will increase and the bolder you will become and the easier it will be for you to step out in ‘now faith’ on a daily basis. You may be buying a new property, starting a new business, expanding your business, or you may be stepping out in the calling and leading of the Holy Spirit – it will all take Now Faith.

My dad would sow seeds into my life of vision and purpose and ministry dreams. He knew the call of God on my life. I resisted the call, till I got in the Word for myself, then my now faith brought me to a place of being able to be a receiver of what God had for me, and when I met Nick, now faith was able to step in. All I needed was a confirmation Word from His Word and my faith was ready to take leaps and bounds in and with the Lord. My confident trust was in Him.

Family, remember the saying, “Yesterday is a cancelled check, tomorrow is a promissory note, but today is cash”. You have today, and sometimes life is moving at a fast pace, and you may miss opportunities God has for you if you hesitate. Just like when the woman with the issue of blood saw Jesus and reached out to touch Him, it was a now moment; had she hesitated she may have missed the moment of her healing.

We see the same with Peter when he asked Jesus to bid him to come to Him. Jesus spoke, and said “Come”, Peter stepped out. His now faith, became a platform for his miracle. Had he not moved in now faith, he would have missed the moment that history is still talking about. What is the leading of the Lord in your life today? What decisions are you holding back? Get a promise from the Lord to confirm your decision, and step out in Faith.

We see in Hebrews 11:4, Abel walked in now faith when he gave an offering to the Lord. Genesis 4:1-4 tells us how he gave his first fruits. The Lord saw Abel’s giving as more excellent than Cain, because Cain only gave his offering in the course of time. If you do things in the course of time, it may be to late. Do what the Spirit is leading you to do NOW!

Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6 also reminds us that He is a rewarder of those them that seek Him. When you step out in faith, you are putting your entire trust in Him. It is the most amazing experience to see God come through for you over and over, and over again. He is true to His Word.

Today, speak His Word, stay in the Word day and night, He has great things in store for you.  That’s why the book of Joshua chapter 1 says that you need to meditate on His Word day and night. Don’t get discouraged with life, and pull away from being in the Word, but as you stay in the Word, keep speaking the Word and declaring it by faith, and you fill find yourself living and operating in now faith - Selah
