Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Family, we have been called to live by faith. 2 Timothy 1 talks about fanning into flame the gracious gift of God. Today as we talk about faith, I want to encourage you to use your faith like never before.
Don’t speak anything unless it is filled with faith filled words. Timothy also tells us that God did not give us a spirit of timidity. He gave us a spirit of boldness. It takes boldness to speak faith and walk in faith, even when circumstances don’t like up with what you are saying, declare by faith what you are believing God for and stand on His Word. His promises are true.
We don’t live like the world, we live as Christians we are believing God for the impossible, declaring and receiving by faith His promises to us.
Faith pleases God and He is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him and trust Him with all their hearts. We have been called to live from testimony to testimony. Let today be the biggest testimony of all – what are you believing God for today? Begin to praise and thank the Lord now for what you are believing for today and receive it by faith in Jesus’ name.
Faith is a gift from the Lord – walk in it today…. It’s been freely given to you, receive it, use it, and see God move on your behalf. A good friend of ours describes the gift of God as Him filling you with everything that He is and you function in the power of that. See yourself today, filled to full and overflowing with all of God’s powerful gifts in operation in you – see yourself operating in the gift of Faith and step out with your Words, stand on His Word and believe Him for the impossible in Jesus’ name.
