Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Galatians 5:25 (NKJV)

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Walking in the Spirit is living by the power of the Holy Spirit through our ‘spirit man’ with the ‘mind of Christ. Walking in the Spirit is walking and living by grace, through faith in the power, strength and ability of Holy Spirit!

Let’s read Galatians 5:22-25 (AMP), “But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]. And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires. If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit and we have our life in God, let us go forward walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.]”

How do you walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh?

It is really easy, the one you feed is the one that will take over! If you feed your spirit man the Word, pray in the Spirit, and speak life to it, your spirit will be STRONG and dominate your life, living according to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, by the power and ability of the Spirit, by grace, through faith! If you continually feed your flesh by continually listening to secular music, continually watching secular TV, by immersing yourself into ‘video games’, and by spending hours on social media, your flesh will be strong and dominate your life. Whatever you feed will live!

Feed your spirit and starve your flesh by grace through faith, and you will walk in the Spirit and do mighty exploits for the Lord, in Jesus Name!

In His amazing love, Nick
