Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

The Amplified Bible says, “Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].”

Hebrews 11:1 defines HOPE as something ‘not seen’ with your natural eyes. New Covenant HOPE is based on something revealed to you by the Lord… with the revelation comes an anointing of expectation… you expect something, even though you have not seen it, and have no physical evidence to base your HOPE on… that anointed expectation apart from circumstances is what the bible calls hope!

FAITH IS OUR TITLE DEED FOR WHAT GOD HAS PROMISED

HOPE IS THE CONFIDENT EXPECTATION FOR WHAT GOD HAS PROMISED

FAITH COMES FROM THE WORD, SO IN EFFECT, THE WORD BECOMES OUR TITLE DEED.

HOPE COMES FROM, OR IS IMPARTED BY; THE WORD, FROM VISIONS, FROM DREAMS, FROM PROPHETIC WORDS, AND FROM DIVINE REVELATIONS FROM THE LORD.

FAITH NARROWS DOWN WHAT WE HOPE FOR TO WHAT THE WORD SAYS.

ONCE HOPE IS CONFORMED TO THE WORD, THE WORD GENERATES FAITH, WHICH BECOMES THE TITLE DEED.

EVERYTHING STARTS WITH HOPE, AND EVERYTHING IS SEALED BY THE FAITH GENERATED BY THE WORD!

HOPE IS THE ROOT OF ALL BLESSINGS, FAITH IS THE TREE, AND THE FRUIT IS THE MANIFESTATION, OR THE MATERIALIZATION OF THE PROMISE.

WITHOUT HOPE, THERE IS NO FAITH, AND WITHOUT FAITH THERE WILL BE NO FRUIT! - IT ALL STARTS WITH HOPE…

HOW DOES HOPE COME?

Hope comes, or is birthed, when God shows you something, or reveals something to you as you meditate upon the Word, or, as you sit under anointed preaching and teaching of the Word, through God given dreams, prophetic words, divine revelations, and vision that is supernaturally revealed to you by the Lord.

Romans 8:24-25 (TPT) says, “For this is THE HOPE of our salvation. (Greek word sozo… including every blessing from the Lord.) But hope means that WE MUST TRUST AND WAIT for what is still unseen. For why would we need to hope for something we already have? So, because our hope is set on what is yet to be seen, we patiently keep on waiting for its fulfillment.”

Waiting is something that our flesh hates, but our spirit (the real person in Christ) has the supernatural ability to wait and trust as long as it takes. Your flesh is impatient, but your recreated spirit man is patient, steadfast and persistent in faith for as long as the process takes.

HOPE IS SUSTAINED BY PATIENCE, CHARACTER AND PERSEVERANCE.

THE ROOT (HOPE) KEEPS GOING DEEPER WHILE THE TREE (FAITH) GROWS UNTIL THE FRUIT COMES (MANIFESTATION).

DO NOT LET GO OF HOPE!

Romans 15:4 (TPT) says, “Whatever was written beforehand is meant to instruct us in how to live. The Scriptures impart to us encouragement and inspiration, SO THAT WE CAN LIVE IN HOPE and endure all things.”

The Word of God sustains and continually generates HOPE! New Covenant HOPE comes with a ‘grace anointing’ of endurance, encouragement and inspiration.

THE SAME WORD THAT KEEPS FAITH ALIVE, KEEPS HOPE ALIVE!

Psalm 130:5 (TPT) says, “I wait upon You, expecting your breakthrough, for YOUR WORD BRINGS ME HOPE.”

Romans 15:13 (TPT) says, “Now may God, THE FOUNTAIN OF HOPE, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in Him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with His super-abundance until you radiate with hope!”

As you persevere, and hold onto what the Lord has revealed through faith, by grace, the power of the Holy Spirit will continually surround your life with His super-abundance until you radiate with hope.

Let me share a couple of testimonies with you, both taken from Joan Hunter’s book, “Just Don’t Quit”. I highly recommend this book, available in iBook’s, Kindle and in paperback.

When Terry Secret was five years old, her parents gave her a choice of either dance lessons, or piano lessons… she wanted both, but her parents could only afford one or the other. She made the tough choice to take piano lessons, but never got over her dream to dance.

Terry went on to become an anointed keyboard player and worship leader, yet she never forgot her dream to dance, but in the business of life, the years rushed by.

At 50, Terry finally decided to take dancing lessons, and at 62 years old, Terry and her dancing partner won the dancing with the stars fundraiser for disadvantaged children… NEVER give up HOPE!

The next true testimony is about a man who attempted many jobs and fought for success and failed many times. He retired at age sixty-five. Not long after that, he considered committing suicide. He sat down to write his will, but instead, he wrote what he could have accomplished with his life. He realized there was much more…

There was one thing he could do better than anyone else he knew. He could cook. He borrowed some money and bought some food. He prepared the food using his own recipe and went door to door to sell his creations.

By the age of 88, Colonel Sanders, founder of the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Empire, was a multi-millionaire. Colonel Sanders was a Spirit-filled man and very active in his church. He used his God-given talents to feed the people of God as well as the world. He faithfully gave over and above his regular tithes and offerings to several ministries. KEEP HOPE ALIVE!

Hope, faith and patience are a three-fold cord not easily broken, through hope, faith and patience, you will inherit every promise from the Lord to you! Don’t give up, keep hope alive!

CONFESSION

“Father God, You are my fountain of hope.

Fill me to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as I trust in You.

Continually surround my life with Your super-abundance until I radiate with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name!”

 In His amazing love, Nick
