Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
Visualize this scripture… you look up and God opens your eyes to see into the realm of the spirit… you see Jesus right above you, looking down at you… ‘dancing, rejoicing shouting triumphantly and singing’, doing the happy dance!’
Now imagine your worst, most challenging day ever… you feel down and defeated, you look up and God opens your eyes to see into the realm of the spirit… you see Jesus right above you, looking down at you… ‘dancing, rejoicing shouting triumphantly and singing’, doing the happy dance!’
Why is He celebrating, singing, smiling and dancing… does He not see your situation? Yes, He sees, but He sees your test as a great testimony in the making! Jesus is dancing and rejoicing because He has made you more than a conqueror. You may be crying, but Jesus is rejoicing, and He wants you to see Him rejoicing over you right now!
If you are stressing and crying, and Jesus is rejoicing, dancing and shouting victory, then maybe He sees something that you do not! Maybe He is looking at something different than what you are looking at! Maybe you should ask Jesus to show you what He sees!
He sees all things working together for your good, He sees the storm as the wind beneath your wings, He sees you collecting the spoils after He defeats the enemy, He sees the future, and you are rejoicing and singing and dancing!
After Israel left Egypt, Pharaoh and his army pursued them… they had the sea in front of them and a powerful army that wanted to kill them behind them. They were in a panic, they were second guessing what they had done, they were regretting that they ever stepped out in faith, but if they had looked up, they would have seen Jesus dancing, rejoicing, and singing over them triumphantly. They were looking at the sea in front of them and the army behind them, but Jesus was looking ahead at Pharaoh's army drowning in the sea after Israel had crossed over on dry ground... Jesus saw their future, He Jesus saw them singing and rejoicing after the victory had been won. If they could have seen what Jesus saw, they would have danced with Him from the beginning!
If you study your New Covenant in Christ through the Word of God, you will see that He always causes you to triumph… that means that, in Christ you never lose! Satan is defeated and disarmed, and your victory is secured! See what Jesus sees and start rejoicing now! Take your bills, take your doctor’s report, take whatever challenges you are facing… then, see what Jesus sees, and then begin to dance, begin to rejoice and begin to shout the victory shout! By faith, celebrate, dance, sing and shout with Jesus right now as He rejoices over you with singing!
