Today’s New Covenant nugget is from John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Let’s read John 3:16-19 out of The Passion Translation… “For here is the way God loved the world—he gave His only, unique Son as a gift. So, now everyone who believes in Him will never perish but experience everlasting life. God did not send His Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it! So, now there is no longer any condemnation for those who believe in Him, but the unbeliever already lives under condemnation because they do not believe in the name of the only Son of God. And here is the basis for their judgment: The Light of God has now come into the world, but the people loved darkness more than the Light, because they want the darkness to conceal their evil.”
Our God is a loving Father… He is not all about judging, condemning and exposing our faults. He loves people so much that He sent His only Son to take our punishment, and to declare those who receive the His loving gift, righteous!
Let’s make the time to worship our loving God this Christmas… There is a very special anointing on Christmas. Let’s honor the Lord in worship, and in spreading His unconditional love wherever we go!
