Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Philippians 4:4-7 (TPT)

Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One! Let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near. Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.’

Paul wrote this beautiful, inspiring passage while walking through one of the most horrific, challenging times in his life. He had every reason to be discouraged, depressed and defeated, but instead he decided to reach out to others and tell them what he himself needed to hear. As he was writing, “be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life…let joy overflow,” he was in a season of great suffering. He was in a stinky, claustrophobic, filthy prison; chained and beaten… he possibly had open wounds and broken bones. (We do not know the details, other than that he was at the point of death as revealed in chapter one)

As Paul was walking through his pain, he was led by the Spirit to reach out and to minister exactly what he, himself needed to the church in Philippi. His outflow made room for a Holy Ghost inflow into his life.

Paul was reminding himself, and ministering to himself, while ministering to others… he was reminding himself as well as those in the church of Philippi…
TO BE cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life;
TO LET joy overflow;
TO LET gentleness be seen in every relationship;
TO NOT be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing;
TO BE saturated in prayer throughout each day,
OFFERING your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude;
TO TELL Him every detail of your life, and…
TO LET God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, make the answers known through Jesus Christ.”

Paul demonstrated how to keep the river of anointing and power in flood stage… he maintained an INFLOW as well as an OUTFLOW of the Word of faith in his life in one of the most challenging times in his life. As you meditate upon the book of Philippians, recognize that INFLOW and OUTFLOW throughout the book.

If you need healing, go minister healing to someone else, if you are battling depression, go minister joy to someone else, if you are in a financial crises, go minister the Word of provision and prosperity to another. Minister what you need to others! The same anointing that flows out of you toward others has to flow into you first. By letting it flow out, you are creating a supernatural Holy Ghost inflow. ~ Selah
