Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Psalm 28:7 (AMP)

The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; my heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.

There is so much to praise the Lord for. During this time of Thanksgiving, make the most of every opportunity to thank the Lord for everything you have, everything you are, everything He has brought you through, and everything He will still bring you through, and for who you are in Him. David continually thanked the Lord in every way, but one of the greatest ways that he gave thanks was in singing to the Lord. He said, “with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.” Do you have a song of thanksgiving in your heart for the Lord today?

There is something so powerful about singings songs of thanksgiving and praise!

Take a moment today and pray this prayer with me…

“Heavenly Father thank You for this amazing Thanksgiving season of celebrating your goodness… Thank You for your love for me. Thank You that your goodness and mercy surrounds me all the days of my life. Thank You for your favor that is for a life-time. Thank You that I stand full and complete in all the will of God for my life. Thank You for being the strength and shield of my life. Because of You Lord, I have an impenetrable strength on the inside of me. I am fully confident in your love for me, your overwhelming love surrounds me. Thank You Lord for this time that I can reflect on your goodness, your love and mercy. I lift my voice today in songs of thanksgiving! I praise You and give You Glory… Hallelujah!”.

Now, take a little time to sing before the Lord… you can sing and worship along with some good praise and worship music, or just sings songs of thanksgiving and praise that spontaneously erupt from your heart! With your song, thank Him and praise Him!

In His amazing love, Esther
