Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Psalm 94:19 (TPT)
Whenever my busy thoughts were out of control, the soothing comfort of your presence calmed me down and overwhelmed me with delight.
Oh, Glory to God in the highest for His faithfulness to us as His dearly beloved, beautiful children. Have you ever had those days where your mind was so busy with so many thoughts, so much planning, so much thinking, so much contemplating, and so much reasoning?
So much to do, and so little time to get it all organized; in the midst of all the thinking, it’s so easy to forget to even put your thoughts on Jesus and His Word, yet He is not to be an ‘after-thought’, ‘especially’ in the midst of ‘busy thoughts that can get out of control’, we need to do what it takes, by grace through faith, to make sure that Jesus and His Word are the center of everything… the center of lives; like the song that says “Jesus You are the center of it all”.
I remember a while back talking to someone at church, who works a secular job, the person was sharing with me how it’s such a different world being in the secular work environment, yet trying to keep Jesus the center focus of everything you do and say; but friends, in the midst, of the busy thoughts… and in the midst of everything you are doing, just take a second and put your mind on Him, the Prince of Peace, and let His presence, His anointing, and His Word calm you, soothe you, comfort you and surround you, and bring you into the place of His perfect peace. Selah.
In His amazing love, Esther
