Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Ephesians 1:17-19
I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (in the knowledge of His Word), that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.
THE LORD HAS RESERVED A GOLDEN KEY AS HIS GIFT TO THE END TIME CHURCH - THE ABILITY TO SEE WHAT OTHERS CANNOT SEE OR PERCEIVE! THIS REVELATION LIGHT WILL BE A HOLY GHOST GPS TO NAVIGATE, TO MINISTER AND TO THRIVE WHERE OTHERS FAIL.
Paul prays for the believers in Ephesus… “Father of glory, give your saints in Ephesus the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus, that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened… give them revelation knowledge Father, so that they may know and perceive what You have given them, that they may know how much power is available to them in Christ and that they may know how to operate in Your power”
Revelation knowledge is beyond mental assent, it is God revealing something that is hidden to every carnal minded person. Revelation knowledge changes the way that we look at things and changes the way we handle things. It fuels faith and destroys double mindedness, deception, fear and doubt. There will be a huge increase in revelation knowledge in the church as the day of the coming of the Lord draws near.
Revelation knowledge goes to the root of who we are, who Jesus is, what Jesus has done for us, what we can do through Christ, why the Lord has commanded us to do things like assemble together, pray together, receive communion, worship with our tithes and giving and many other things… it literally takes a person from doing something that they know is right by faith, (even though they may not want to do it), to doing things with passion, excitement, anticipation and with fire in our bones.
Pray this prayer with me… “Father of glory, I thank You for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus and His Word, I thank You that my spiritual eyes, the eyes of my understanding would be enlightened; that I would know the hope of His calling, that I would know what my inheritance is in Christ, according to the riches of His glory… and that I may know the exceeding greatness of His power toward me as a believer, according to the working of His mighty power, in Jesus Name!”
