Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Romans 8:38 (TPT)
So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that His love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken His love.
Friends, if you were to ask me what my all-time favorite scripture in the bible is, I would tell you it is Romans 8:38. I grew up hearing my dad quote this verse over and over and today, as I was reading it in The Passion Translation, I just had to share this with you today.
Can you imagine… there is nothing in the universe, with the power and ability to separate us from God’s love for us. No challenge, no circumstance, no barrier, no government leader or government system can separate us from God’s love for us.
Yesterday in the state of Hawaii they passed an order due to covid where you cannot sit on a beach or in a park alongside your spouse or family member. Wow, the government can decide who you sit with or don’t sit with at a beach or in a park, even if it is your spouse or your baby?
They can try separate you from your family and loved ones… but thank You Jesus, they can never separate us from His love for us. Our Lord and Savior is the same yesterday, today and forever and His love for us is for eternity. Today, be confident in His love for you – it is unending, unfailing and eternal – Amen
