I’ve left you an example of how you should serve and take care of those who are weak. For we must always cherish the words of our Lord Jesus, who taught, ‘Giving brings a far greater blessing than receiving.’
The footnotes in The passion Translation say, “The Aramaic is an idiom that speaks of extravagant generosity.” Jesus wants us to be extravagantly generous! It is wonderful to receive, but giving tops receiving every time!
Todays devotion comes with an assignment… Find as many people today that you can bless, and bless them! Bless with your words, bless financially, bless with acts of kindness and bless by ministering healing to somebody. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you as you go forth today to be a blessing!
