The powers of darkness are attempting to break the spirit of the Church – even though COVID-19 is not directly touching those who are in Christ, the secret place, the main target of the devil and the evil spirits associated with COVID-19 is the church. To the extent that the enemy can weaken, divide and make weary the church… to the extent that the devil can consume all of our focus on what he is doing, instead of what the Lord is saying and doing, to that extent he can gain ground in his plan to kill, steal and destroy.
The bible says in 2 Thessalonians 2 that the antichrist will not be able to fully take over until he who restrains is taken out of the way… he who restrains is the church, the body of Christ – we, as the worldwide church are restraining, blocking and holding back every agenda of the devil… he hates us with passion and his number one agenda is to get us out of the way.
This is why we have to stay strong, focused, full of the Word and full of Holy Ghost JOY!
Do not place your entire focus on COVID-19! Focus on the Word, focus on Jesus, focus on His kingdom and on His kingdom assignments – focus on LIFE, not on death!
Do whatever you can to keep your joy levels up – the JOY of the Lord is your strength! A joyful heart is like good medicine! The Passion Translation says, ‘A joyful, cheerful heart brings healing to both body and soul. But the one whose heart is crushed struggles with sickness and depression.’ Use your faith to maintain your JOY in believing – that will be very difficult if you keep focusing on what the devil is doing… remember, when Peter focused on the waves and the sea, instead of focusing on Jesus, he began to sink and Jesus had to rescue him. DO NOT get your eyes off Jesus… in His presence is fullness of Joy!
All of you powerful, Spirit filled restrainers… keep high levels of joy by staying in the presence of Jesus… lighten up, tell jokes, do activities that make you laugh… go online and watch YouTube clips of the three stooges or something innocent and clean that will make you laugh. Maintain a joyful atmosphere around you and stay strong, in Jesus name!
