The source of most attacks on our life is spiritual… most financial challenges, health challenges, relationship challenges, challenges with depression and other emotional issues as well as challenges to succeed in life are as a result of the works of darkness that are trying to steal, kill and destroy. People are never the root problem – the devil uses deceived people who will buy into his lies, but they are not the source. Renewing your mind on this truth will change your life!
The New Covenant solution… it is not shouting at the devil, or talking to the devil – in fact, there is no mention about dealing with the devil in this passage other than ‘struggling’ against him. The Greek word for ‘struggle’ is ‘pále’ literally meaning to wrestle, to throw down, to pin down, or to vibrate. I believe that in the context of this scripture that ‘vibrate’ is the best translation… ‘Our vibration is not against flesh and blood, but our vibration is against principalities, against powers, and against rulers of darkness’. When we are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, we ‘vibrate’, or ‘shake’ in His anointed power… that power is not intended to destroy flesh and blood, it is intended to destroy the works of the devil.
The New Covenant solution is firstly, to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of His explosive power flowing in and through you), and secondly to put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us in Christ.
When you come under spiritual attack, walk in God’s strength and be clothed with His power. Let the anointing of God vibrate out of you like rushing rivers, His strength and His power flowing through you will destroy every work of the devil. A believer who is inwardly infused with supernatural strength and outwardly clothed with the armor of explosive, miracle working power is invincible.
