Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Philippians 3:13-14
This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
As you face your day, forget the things that are behind you and focus on your divine assignment. Like a fish in water, or an eagle soaring in the sky, you will be the most fulfilled as you do what you are called to do. Focus on who you are called to (your family, your friends, the people that the Lord has assigned you to and your ministry co laborers in Christ) – and focus on your assignment for today. Get prayed up and go forth and be a blessing and you continue the works of Jesus as His hand extended!
Hebrews 12:2-3 (TPT) says, “We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because His heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be His, He endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God! So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures.”
Do not let life distract you, keep the faith, keep your focus and stay on the road that Jesus has placed you on! Do not become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures, in Jesus Name!
Blessings on you, Nick
