God’s Word is alive, living and is at work in our lives. His Word, by design, is able to penetrate into the very core of our being… as the passion translation so beautifully describes ‘where soul spirit, bone and marrow meet’, and as the King James version describes it, ‘is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart’
Have you ever read the Word and felt like the Lord was ‘reading your mail’? How unique and amazing is God’s Word, that you can read a passage almost anywhere in the Word, and it begins to minister directly to you, to where your current situation is and to where your attitude and current thoughts are in the middle of processing your day-to-day life. All this is because His powerful Word is alive.
His Word is His daily living Word into our lives just as if He were standing speaking to us. God was so remarkable when He created us, that He even designed us to be able to receive His written Word into our Spirits… He created us to be able to respond to His living Word and that as we read it out aloud, His written Word now becomes His spoken, living Word, ministering into the very core being of our hearts and lives.
Thank God… His Word was created to penetrate into our very innermost being; it bypasses the arguments of our flesh nature and is able to minister right into our spirits. Today, my heart is just so thankful for His living Word, at work within me – Amen. Take a little time right now and give Him praise for His Word at work within you!
