Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMP)
Now may the God of peace [the source of serenity and spiritual well-being] who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood that sealed and ratified the eternal covenant, equip you with every good thing to carry out His will and strengthen you [making you complete and perfect as you ought to be], accomplishing in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
As this week comes to a close, I felt that the Lord gave me this Word for us all for today. As the Holy Spirit gave a message to the church in this ending chapter of Hebrews, “that our God, who raised Jesus from the dead, who through the blood of Jesus sealed and ratified the eternal covenant that He has with you and me”, just so, He is equipping you for today and for the coming week ahead with every good thing you and I need to carry out His will… reminding us that we don’t have to go out in our own ability and in our own strength… but He is equipping us, He is strengthening us… giving us everything we need to stand full and complete in all the will of God for our lives.
Let Jesus shine His love and peace and power through your life this weekend for His Glory – Just know as you go forth today… He has equipped and strengthened you, you are not going out in your own strength and ability… and everything you accomplish in Him today is so that God would be glorified in and through your life.
So, today, as He equips you and empowers you… stand tall, stand strong, stand in His Wisdom and in His ability - Selah
