Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Luke 2:11-14 (TPT)
For today in Bethlehem a rescuer was born for you. He is the Lord Yahweh, the Messiah. You will recognize him by this miracle sign: You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a feeding trough!” Then all at once, a vast number of glorious angels appeared, the very armies of heaven! And they all praised God, singing: “Glory to God in the highest realms of heaven! For there is peace and a good hope given to the sons of men.”
Peace and Good Hope
Because of Jesus there is peace and good hope given to the sons of men! Take your eyes and focus them on Jesus today, not on your circumstances… let the Prince of peace give you peace and good hope today… let Him fill you with joy and faith… our God of angel armies is for you! He is willing and able to bless, to provide, to protect and to prosper you! The same angel armies that sang and worshipped the day that Jesus was born are now watching over you! He is our great God of angel armies!
As you celebrate Christmas day with your beautiful family today, our prayer for you is that you would experience the peace and the good hope that Jesus brings, not only today, but everyday till Jesus returns for us His bride. May you be able to share His peace and good hope with others today as you exchange gifts, share meals and celebrate the wonderful birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
