Today’s devotion is from Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles.

To have trust in the Lord is to have ultimate faith in Him and the ability to know He will provide, He will make a way and the knowing that you can “rest” in Him. When you rest, you get refreshed and your strength is renewed – just like taking a power nap.

New strength results in your going beyond your natural ability, doing things beyond your natural expectation…

When you think of an eagle soaring and why the Lord used an eagle as an example to us, you realize how the Lord wants us to have faith to experience the supernatural. Things that can only be done in and through His super on our natural - His touch on our lives. He wants to experience the supernatural, walk in the miraculous and live a life above circumstance and situations.

Friends, because we are in a New Covenant relationship with Jesus, because of what Jesus did on the Cross for us, because of His glorious power now living in and operating through us, because we serve a living God and we have His Living Word that we can speak and declare over our lives, we can soar in this life. We have been called to walk in the fullness of His presence, to come boldly to His throne of Grace and to partake of the glorious inheritance of the Saints.

Ephesians 3:12 NLT says” Because of Christ and our faith in Him, we can now come boldly and confidently into His Presence”.  In His presence, we receive that perfect trust, peace, confidence and strength to soar with Him as He makes all things in our lives possible through the victory He purchased for us on the Cross. Hallelujah.
