You and I can call ourselves “ Blessed of the Lord “ because our trust and hope is in Him. When people see you and ask how you are doing, I don’t know about you, but I always respond and say “ Great thank you, or blessed thank you”. Reading this verse today, makes me want to respond and say, ‘blessed thank you because my trust and hope is in the Lord’.
Friends, because we are standing on the Word, because we are walking with Him, the Bible refers to us as trees planted by the waters. Imagine being a tree by a beautiful river, where your roots have refreshing water close by, with each root surrounded by good ground (good soil) and refreshing water at the tip of each root. As long as we are drinking from His River, we stay strong, refreshed, and blessed of the Lord.
