Joy.jpg

Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Acts 2:28

You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’

The Amplified Bible, Classic Edition says, “You have made known to me the ways of life; You will enrapture me [diffusing my soul with joy] with and in Your presence.”

The Passion Translation says, “For you have revealed to me the pathways to life, and seeing Your face fills me with euphoria!”

This Greek word for joy that is used here is ‘euphrosune’… literally meaning euphoria, ecstatic joy and ecstasy. We are talking about the spirit of, or the anointing of joy, an ecstasy that comes from God and God alone.

Supernatural euphoric, ecstatic joy is evidence of the manifested presence, or glory of Jesus… “You will fill me with the fullness of euphoric joy as I enter Your presence” When Jesus has anything to do with something, the evidence of His touch is ecstatic, euphoric joy!

Acts 14:17 (NLT) says, “He never left them without evidence of Himself and His goodness. For instance, He sends you rain and good crops and gives you food and joyful hearts.” The word ‘joyful’ used here is the same Greek word ‘euphrosune’.

The Passion Translation says, “He has never left Himself without clear evidence of His goodness. For He blesses us with rain from heaven and seasons of fruitful harvests, and He nourishes us with food to meet our needs. He satisfies our lives, and euphoria fills our hearts.

Every time that you feel challenged, down, depressed or heavy… ask Jesus to manifest Himself to you and to bring you into His manifest presence… His GLORY (His manifest presence) carries the anointing of supernatural joy!

John 14:21 says, “He who has My commandments (the perfect law of liberty in Christ) and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

The verb translated “manifest” is only used here in John’s Gospel and in the following verse. It is used in the light of a special divine manifestation…. “I will manifest myself to him” is more than merely ‘showing him’ who I am… It litarally means, “I will personally come to him.”

Call upon Jesus to manifest Himself and to flood you with His manifest presence… as you do His manifested presence will begin to infuse and diffuse ecstatic joy, peace, grace and power into you and into your world! Praise be to the Lord forevermore!

In His amazing love, Nick
