What a powerful promise… everybody that has faith in Jesus and in what He did on the cross of Calvary… ‘everybody’ will receive POWER unto salvation! The Greek word for salvation is ‘sozo’ it literally means abundant supply, divine health and healing, favor, protection, deliverance and preservation. The power of God unto salvation is supernatural power that produces ‘sozo’ given to each believer. Jesus did not establish a dead religion, He established a powerful kingdom that operates through powerful people.
John 3:16-17 says, ‘For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He gave His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.’ - John 3:16-17 (AMPC)
God did not send Jesus to condemn the world, He loved us so very much that He sent Jesus to bring us the power of ‘sozo’. Not one aspect of ‘sozo’ is without power!
2 Peter 1:2-3 says, ‘May grace and perfect peace cascade over you as you live in the rich knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to God has already been deposited in us (as believers) by His divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing Him who has called us by name and invited us to come to Him through a glorious manifestation of His goodness. - 2 Peter 1:2-3 (TPT)
THE FATHER GAVE JESUS, THEN JESUS GAVE HIS LIVE SO THAT WE COULD LIVE THE ABUNDANT LIFE BY THE POWER OF SOZO!
WITH JESUS, YOU WILL STILL HAVE TRIALS, BUT HE WILL TURN EVERY TRIAL INTO A TRIUMPH BECAUSE OF HIS POWER WORKING IN AND THROUGH US.
Take a little time right now and just begin to thank the Father for sending Jesus, the greatest gift ever! Take a little time and receive the revelation that you have been given POWER to walk in divine health, and power to give divine health to others – POWER to create wealth and to walk in prosperity, and power to equip others to live in abundance – POWER to walk in supernatural ability and power to lead others to discover and to walk in what you have today!
