Today’s New Covenant nugget is from John 14:27 (AMP)
Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]
Jesus said, “Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.” His perfect peace is beyond anything that the world has… His perfect peace calms us and at the same time gives us courage and strength… His perfect peace is loaded with the anointing and with power!
Jesus said, “Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.” ‘DO NOT LET IT…’ instead, ‘LET…’ in other words, ‘do not yield your heart to trouble and fear - do not be trouble minded’, instead LET the perfect peace from Jesus strengthen you and give you courage… be Jesus minded, be Word minded and then receive the anointing and power on the Word.
If you have fear or if you are facing stress today because of circumstances, begin to meditate on the Prince of peace, meditate upon His Word, His promises and His love for you – receive His anointing of peace, and then enter into His rest by faith!
