‘But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.’
Follow the anointing…
The anointing is a Holy Ghost unction to function in the supernatural… The anointing is the life-giving, healing, restoring, yoke destroying, burden removing, delivering power of the Holy Spirit… in addition to that, the anointing is released by God when He sanctions something. I always look for the anointing… I can trust the anointing. If something is anointed, whether it be preaching, or music, or a particular teaching, I know that I can trust it…
The anointing is easy to recognize and it is easy to follow as a believer... I even put my thoughts to the anointing test, (take every thought captive to Christ) if I do not see, or sense the anointing on my thoughts or plans, I let them go, or put them on the shelf to pray about again later, no matter how logical they seem.
I look for the anointing on every business deal, on every relationship that I enter into and on everything that I am considering doing. I even look for the anointing while going down the store aisle while shopping. Some may think that I am going too far with this, but with all of the Salmonella and E. Coli and with all of the genetically modified foods and the Lord knows what else, I do not buy something if I do not sense the anointing on it. The anointing teaches you concerning ALL THINGS… not just spiritual things, ALL THINGS!
In making a decision, I visualize what I am considering, and while I am visualizing it, I look for the anointing… if I do not discern it, I begin to consider other options.
Look for the anointing, follow the anointing, trust the anointing… live long and prosper, in Jesus Name!
