Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Proverbs 16:3 (TPT)
Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed.
The Amplified Bible, Classic Edition says, ‘Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.’
As we begin to move into 2021, most of us reevaluate things, measure things, set goals and pray about possibly changing direction in one way or another… as you do some of these things in planning 2021, know that the Lord ultimately knows best! Being Spirit led is the best way to live the blessed life!
When you need direction; wait upon the Lord to receive His plan and His direction, then once you feel that you have direction, submit that plan and that work to the Lord and trust Him with it. The bible says that as you do that, that He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
Part of rolling your trusting the Lord with your plans is submitting your thoughts to mature people of like precious faith… you do not have to give them total ‘veto power’, but take what they say and what they see and ask the Lord about it… they may be used of God to highlight something that you may have missed.
The Lord has special plans and assignments for you in 2021… He has miracles, blessings and victories laid up for you. Get spiritually ready and get in faith… 2021 is knocking at the door… ready or not!
