Today’s devotion is from Ephesians 6:10 (AMP)
“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].”
The enemy is after our strength… if we walk around thinking we are weak, we will NEVER do much for the Lord!
I am talking about supernatural strength and power in your will, mind and your emotions – strength in your soul, in your innermost being!
DRAW STRENGTH from Him BY FAITH
Remind yourself that you are empowered by Him through your union with Him… “In conclusion, be strong in the Lord, be empowered through your union with Him”
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace [His ability, strength and might] to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
I love the word Grace – it reminds me of the Baptist Good News group I attended as a little kid where I learnt that Grace was “God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense” – every time I think of the word GRACE, I am reminded of this… I remind myself that Jesus did it all, and now I just have to receive it.
Prayer
Father God, I find strength at Your throne of Grace. I find unmerited favor, ability, might, and power from You. Beyond all I dare ask or think- all I need. I come boldly and I receive from You today – strength that You have provided for me. I draw strength from You now by faith in Jesus Name!
